NSS (NATIONAL SERVICE SCHEME)

Vision

To empower students to become socially aware, selfless, and responsible citizens by fostering values of service, discipline, and teamwork through sustained participation in rural development and community service.

Mission

To cultivate social responsibility, leadership qualities, and community engagement among students by actively involving them in nation-building activities through the NSS Camp.

Objective

• Community Service: To develop a sense of social responsibility by addressing issues like sanitation, health, literacy, and environmental conservation in adopted villages or communities.
• Personality Development: To build leadership, communication, teamwork, and organizational skills among students through real-life problem-solving experiences.
• Social Awareness: To sensitize students towards the problems and needs of rural and underprivileged sections of society.
• Civic Engagement: To promote awareness about government schemes, rights, duties, and health campaigns (like Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, Beti Bachao-Beti Padhao, Blood Donation, etc.).
• Skill Development: To inculcate skills related to first aid, disaster management, digital literacy, and hygiene practices.
• Environmental Responsibility: To engage in activities like tree plantation, water conservation, and cleanliness drives.
• Cultural Enrichment: To celebrate cultural diversity and local heritage through cultural programs and folk art during the camp.
